黑山公司10月6日宣布，已签署最终协议，将为谷歌在怀俄明州夏延市规划建设的数据中心提供电力服务。据GlobeNewswire发布的消息，协议涵盖长期供电安排与配套电网升级，数据中心建成后将成为怀俄明州最大的电力用户之一。怀俄明州以其凉爽气候与相对低廉的电价，近年来吸引了多家科技公司的数据中心项目落户。夏延市官员表示，谷歌数据中心项目将为当地带来可观的税收与就业，市政府正配合推进相关基础设施建设。黑山公司称，供电方案将优先保障电网稳定，不影响居民用电。
Black Hills Corp. Signs Deals to Power Planned Google Data Center in Cheyenne
Black Hills Corp. announced on October 6 it has signed definitive agreements to provide electric service to Google's planned data center in Cheyenne, Wyoming. According to GlobeNewswire, the deals cover long-term power supply and grid upgrades; once built, the data center would rank among Wyoming's largest electricity users. Wyoming's cool climate and relatively low power prices have attracted several tech companies' data center projects in recent years. Cheyenne officials said the Google project will bring significant tax revenue and jobs, and the city is coordinating supporting infrastructure. Black Hills said its power plan prioritizes grid stability without affecting residential service.
