新奥尔良市市长海伦娜·莫雷诺10月5日在加利尔厅主持“恒久之基”（Built to Last）两党市长圆桌会。据市政府官网发布的消息，来自全美多地的市长齐聚新奥尔良，围绕基础设施、公共安全、住房与气候韧性等议题展开交流。莫雷诺表示，城市治理超越党派分歧，市长们面临的挑战是相通的，跨党派合作才能找到务实方案。与会市长分享了各自在灾后重建、交通升级与社区治安方面的经验。圆桌会期间，代表们还参观了新奥尔良历史街区，考察该市在文化遗产保护与旅游业复苏方面的实践。
New Orleans Mayor Hosts Bipartisan Mayors Roundtable 'Built to Last'
New Orleans Mayor Helena Moreno hosted the bipartisan mayors roundtable “Built to Last” at Gallier Hall on October 5. According to the city's website, mayors from across the country gathered in New Orleans to exchange ideas on infrastructure, public safety, housing and climate resilience. Moreno said city governance transcends party lines, mayors face common challenges, and bipartisan cooperation yields practical solutions. Attending mayors shared experiences in disaster recovery, transit upgrades and neighborhood safety. During the roundtable, delegates also toured New Orleans' historic districts to study the city's heritage preservation and tourism recovery efforts.
