伊利诺伊州伍德河好莱坞影城动工，州长亲自铲土
伊利诺伊州州长J.B.普里茨克10月5日亲赴伍德河市，为“好莱坞河畔影城”项目破土动工。据州长新闻办公室发布的消息，该影城项目落户圣路易斯都会东区，将建设摄影棚、后期制作中心与配套设施，预计为当地创造大量影视制作与建筑就业岗位。普里茨克表示，伊利诺伊州近年来凭借税收抵免政策吸引了众多影视剧组，此次新影城落地将进一步巩固该州在中西部影视产业的领先地位。伍德河市官员称，项目还将带动周边餐饮、住宿与商业发展。影城首期工程预计在未来两年内完工。
Ground Broken on Hollywood River Studios in Wood River, Illinois
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker traveled to Wood River on October 5 to break ground on the Hollywood River Studios project. According to the governor's newsroom, the studio complex in the Metro East will include soundstages, post-production facilities and support services, creating numerous film production and construction jobs. Pritzker said Illinois has attracted many film and TV productions in recent years thanks to tax incentives, and the new studio will cement the state's lead in Midwest film production. Wood River officials said the project will also boost nearby restaurants, hotels and retail. Phase one is expected to finish within two years.
