纽约州起诉预测市场Polymarket非法赌博，求偿三倍收益
9月24日，纽约州检察长詹乐霞与州长霍楚尔对预测市场平台Polymarket US提起诉讼，指控其在全州运营无牌非法赌博，要求法院关闭其在纽约的运营、赔偿用户，并处以相当于平台收益三倍的罚款。
诉状称，Polymarket的事件合约符合纽约州对赌博的法律定义，且允许18至20岁用户下注，低于州法对体育博彩21岁的年龄要求。Polymarket表示其受联邦商品期货交易委员会监管，将对该案进行抗辩。
New York Sues Polymarket for Illegal Gambling, Seeks Triple Profits
On September 24, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Governor Kathy Hochul sued prediction-market platform Polymarket US, accusing it of running unlicensed illegal gambling statewide. The state seeks to shut its New York operations, compensate users, and impose fines worth triple the platform's profits.
The complaint says Polymarket's event contracts meet New York's legal definition of gambling and that it allowed users aged 18 to 20 to bet, below the state's 21-year minimum for sports betting. Polymarket says it is regulated by the federal CFTC and will fight the case.
