皇后区罗斯福大道传街头兜售假绿卡，社区致函联邦要求调查
10月1日，纽约皇后区罗斯福大道再传治安隐忧。当地社区组织"恢复罗斯福大道联盟"公布影片，称有人在街头公开兜售伪造绿卡、护照及社会安全卡，其中一处交易地点就在76街与罗斯福大道交口。
该组织已致函联邦国土安全部，要求调查证件来源、制作及销售网络。联盟领袖、前州参议员蒙塞拉特表示，伪造证件可能被用于身份冒用或其他犯罪。罗斯福大道横跨杰克逊高地、可乐娜等多个移民聚居社区，沿线治安问题长期受到关注。
Fake Green Cards Sold on Queens' Roosevelt Avenue, Community Asks Feds to Investigate
On October 1, community group Restore Roosevelt Avenue Coalition released video allegedly showing people openly selling fake green cards, passports and Social Security cards on Roosevelt Avenue in Queens, including near 76th Street.
The coalition wrote to the Department of Homeland Security asking it to investigate the source, production and sale network. Leader Hiram Monserrate said the forged documents could be used for identity theft and other crimes. Roosevelt Avenue runs through immigrant neighborhoods including Jackson Heights and Corona, where street safety has long been a concern.
