Dodgers Fall 3-2 to Braves in NLDS Game 2; Series Tied 1-1
The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped Game 2 of the National League Division Series to the Atlanta Braves 3-2 on Sunday, evening the best-of-five series at 1-1. Los Angeles scored on home runs by Freddie Freeman and Max Muncy, but the lineup could not sustain pressure against Atlanta's pitching.
Mookie Betts went hitless with two walks and said afterward that the Dodgers knew the matchup would not be easy. With Atlanta's pitching depth stretched, the Braves pieced together a bullpen effort, and Los Angeles now has to find runs on the road rather than waiting for the long ball.
