Appeals Court Pauses Reinstatement of Seattle-Area U.S. Attorney Fired by Trump
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on October 4 put on hold a judge's order reinstating Seattle-area U.S. Attorney Roger Rogoff, who was fired by President Trump. The court granted an administrative stay while it considers the appeal. Rogoff was fired in July less than an hour after federal judges named him. He sued, becoming the first court-appointed U.S. attorney to challenge his firing. Source: Reuters.
