Coast Guard Searches for Boston-Bound Medevac Jet That Vanished Off Nantucket; Six Aboard
A medical transport jet bound for Boston Logan International Airport vanished from radar south of Nantucket in the early hours of Saturday, October 3, with six people aboard. The U.S. Coast Guard continued searching on October 4. A civilian vessel located debris associated with the aircraft. The Gulfstream medevac flight, operated by Latitude Air Ambulance, departed Bermuda late Friday night. The crew reported electrical difficulties as the aircraft approached Boston.
