南加州十月热浪持续，五县极端高温警告至10月8日
国家气象局（NWS）针对洛杉矶、橙县、河滨、圣贝纳迪诺、圣迭戈等南加州各县发布的极端高温警告持续生效至10月8日晚间。这轮十月热浪由盘踞美国西部上空的高压「热穹」造成，气温比常年同期高出15至20华氏度。
预警期间，海岸地区最高温约90华氏度，内陆谷地可达100至105华氏度，夜间低温仍在70多度、难以降温。气象部门预计10月9日前后高温才开始逐步缓解。
气象与卫生部门提醒，干燥大风同时增加野火风险；居民应注意防暑、多饮水，提前确认附近纳凉中心位置，并留意可能的停电，雇主也须为户外工作者提供阴凉、饮水与休息。
October Heat Wave Grips Southern California; Extreme Heat Warnings Through Oct. 8
Extreme Heat Warnings issued by the National Weather Service for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego counties remain in effect through the evening of Oct. 8. A persistent high-pressure "heat dome" over the West is driving temperatures 15-20 degrees above normal for early October.
Coastal highs will run around 90, with inland valleys reaching 100-105 and overnight lows stuck in the 70s, offering little relief. Forecasters expect gradual cooling to begin around Oct. 9.
Dry, gusty winds also raise wildfire risk. Residents are urged to stay hydrated, know their nearest cooling center, and be ready for possible power outages; employers must provide shade, water and rest breaks for outdoor workers.
