海洋城本土歌手Jimmy Charles登上Country Calling音乐节舞台
马里兰州海洋城——10月3日，来自海洋城本土的乡村歌手吉米·查尔斯（Jimmy Charles）登上Country Calling音乐节的舞台，在家乡父老面前献唱。据《delmarvanow》10月6日报道，能在家乡的大型音乐节上演出，对查尔斯而言意义非凡。

OCEAN CITY, Md. — Hometown country singer Jimmy Charles took the stage at the Country Calling festival on Oct. 3, performing in front of his own community, delmarvanow reported on Oct. 6. Playing a major festival at home meant the world to Charles.
Charles is an Ocean City-bred country artist who has spent years gigging up and down the East Coast, building a loyal following. With Country Calling staged practically in his backyard, he got to showcase his music for hometown fans. Charles said he hopes the festival lasts forever and becomes an annual Ocean City tradition.
Country Calling has grown into a major country music event for Maryland's Eastern Shore, drawing big-name acts and fans from across the region. The festival weekend gives a big lift to local hotels and restaurants.
Charles's set drew a warm response, with hometown fans waving signs in support. Singing on a hometown stage is irreplaceable, he said — and he plans to keep working to carry Ocean City's name further.
