超低温仓储企业落户安纳海姆，筹建零下80度全程监控冷库
安纳海姆消息——专业冷链仓储企业Ultracold Storage Solutions宣布，正在橙县安纳海姆筹建一座超低温仓储设施，可提供零下80摄氏度的全程温度监控存储服务，该消息于10月2日对外公布。据公司公告，新设施主要面向实验室、生物制药企业、医院与血库等机构，存储需要极低温保存的样本、试剂与生物制品。
新冠疫情之后，mRNA疫苗与细胞治疗等产品对超低温冷链的需求持续增长，相关企业加速在生物医药产业聚集区布局。安纳海姆所在的橙县拥有成规模的医疗器械与生物科技产业，加上邻近洛杉矶港与多条高速，成为冷链物流选址的热门地区。
公司表示，设施将配备备用电源与24小时温度报警系统，以满足医药级存储的合规要求。项目预计为当地带来仓储、技术与运营岗位，具体启用时间与库容规模将由公司后续公布。
超低温仓储对稳定性要求极高：一次断电或设备故障就可能让整批样本与药品报废，因此这类设施通常配备双路供电、备用发电机、液氮备份与多重温度探头，温度数据全程留痕以满足医药监管审计。业内人士介绍，服务收费一般按托盘仓位与存储时长计算，客户多为需要长期保存临床试验样本、细胞株与疫苗原料的机构。橙县聚集了大量医疗器械、眼科制药与生物科技企业，加上安纳海姆本身是会展与旅游城市、物流配套成熟，近年已有多家冷链与第三方物流企业在此布局。市经济发展部门对项目表示欢迎，认为这类高附加值仓储与本地生命科学产业的用工结构契合。

ANAHEIM — Ultracold Storage Solutions announced on October 2 that it is preparing an ultra-low-temperature storage facility in Anaheim, Orange County, offering monitored storage down to −80°C. According to the company, the facility will serve laboratories, biopharmaceutical firms, hospitals and blood banks that need extreme cold storage for samples, reagents and biological products.
Demand for ultracold storage has grown since the COVID-19 pandemic, driven by mRNA vaccines and cell therapies, and providers have been expanding in life-science clusters. Anaheim sits in an Orange County economy with a sizable medical-device and biotech base, close to the Port of Los Angeles and major freeways — an attractive combination for cold-chain logistics.
The company said the site will have backup power and round-the-clock temperature alarms to meet pharmaceutical-grade compliance standards. The project is expected to bring warehouse, technical and operations jobs; the company will announce the opening date and capacity in due course.
Ultracold storage is unforgiving: a single power or equipment failure can destroy an entire inventory of samples and medicines, so facilities of this kind typically run dual power feeds, backup generators, liquid-nitrogen contingencies and redundant temperature probes, with continuous data logging for regulatory audits. Industry specialists say services are usually priced by pallet position and storage duration, and clients are mostly institutions preserving clinical-trial samples, cell lines and vaccine materials over long periods. Orange County hosts a dense cluster of medical-device, ophthalmic-drug and biotech companies, and Anaheim — a convention and tourism city with mature logistics — has drawn several cold-chain and third-party logistics investments in recent years. City economic-development officials welcomed the project as a good fit with the local life-science workforce.
