兰辛警方调查 River Trail 沿线5起死亡事件是否关联
据《男性杂志》（Men's Journal）报道，兰辛市警察局长10月2日举行新闻发布会表示，警方正在调查在 Lansing River Trail 沿线发现的5起死亡事件是否存在关联。
警方称，这5起案件的发现地点均靠近这条贯穿市区的步道，法医正在确定每起案件的死因与死亡时间。目前调查人员尚未确认案件之间存在联系，也未排除任何可能性，调查仍处于早期阶段。
Lansing River Trail 是当地居民日常健身与休闲的热门去处，全长数英里，沿线经过公园与居民区。连续发现多起死亡事件已在社区引发不安，不少居民表示暂时不敢独自前往步道。
警察局长呼吁公众提供线索，并提醒在步道活动的市民注意结伴同行、留意周边环境。警方表示将根据法医结论决定下一步调查方向，相关进展会及时向公众通报，避免不实猜测蔓延。
Lansing Police Probe Whether 5 Deaths Along River Trail Are Connected
Lansing's police chief said at an October 2 press conference that investigators are examining whether five deaths discovered along the Lansing River Trail are connected, Men's Journal reported.
All five were found near the trail that runs through the city, and the medical examiner is determining cause and time of death in each case. Investigators have neither confirmed a link nor ruled anything out; the inquiry remains in its early stages.
The Lansing River Trail is a popular route for exercise and recreation, stretching several miles through parks and neighborhoods. The cluster of deaths has unsettled the community, with many residents saying they now avoid the trail alone.
The chief appealed for tips and urged trail users to travel in groups and stay aware of their surroundings. Police said next steps will follow the medical examiner's findings and that updates will be shared publicly to keep speculation in check.
