科罗拉多公园与野生动物局警告：黑熊盯上万圣节南瓜
据《科罗拉多泉报》（Coloradoan）10月2日报道，科罗拉多州公园与野生动物局（CPW）发布万圣节特别提醒：黑熊正盯上居民门口摆放的南瓜，呼吁民众及时收回户外南瓜装饰。
CPW 表示，秋季是黑熊为冬眠储备脂肪的关键时期，南瓜香甜的气味对熊极具吸引力。往年万圣节前后，城区边缘地带曾多次发生黑熊翻找门廊南瓜、闯入庭院的事件。
科罗拉多州是黑熊的重要栖息地，估计有上万头黑熊在落基山脉及周边活动。随着城市向山区扩张，人熊相遇的频率逐年上升。野生动物官员每年秋季都会发布“防熊季”提醒。
官员建议，居民可将南瓜放在室内展示，或在万圣节当晚再摆出、次日清晨收回；一旦发现熊只靠近住宅，应立即联系 CPW，切勿自行驱赶或投喂。投喂野生动物在科罗拉多州属于违法行为。

Colorado Parks and Wildlife issued a Halloween advisory October 2: black bears are eyeing porch pumpkins, and residents should bring decorations indoors, the Coloradoan reported.
Fall is when bears pack on fat for hibernation, and pumpkins' sweet scent is a strong attractant, CPW said. In past years, bears repeatedly raided porch pumpkins and yards along urban-wildland edges around Halloween.
Colorado is prime black-bear country, with an estimated ten thousand-plus bears roaming the Rockies and foothills. As suburbs push into the mountains, human-bear encounters keep rising, and wildlife officers issue "bear-aware" reminders every fall.
Officials advise displaying pumpkins indoors, or setting them out only on Halloween night and retrieving them the next morning. Residents who see bears near homes should call CPW rather than confronting or feeding them; feeding wildlife is illegal in Colorado.
