Kacey Musgraves Brings Middle of Nowhere Tour to Charlotte's Spectrum Center
Country star Kacey Musgraves brought her Middle of Nowhere Tour to the Spectrum Center in downtown Charlotte on the night of October 2, delivering one of the most talked-about concerts of the fall season in North Carolina.
Mexican-American singer Estevie opened the show with dance-driven numbers including "el paso" and "Quiero Saber," warming up a crowd decked out in glitter and cowboy boots. Musgraves, whose album "Golden Hour" won the Grammy for Album of the Year, headlined a production praised by fans and local reviewers for its staging and atmosphere.
The Spectrum Center, home of the NBA's Charlotte Hornets, is the city's premier arena for major touring acts, and the Charlotte stop underscored the city's growing weight on the Southeast's live-music map.
