俄州州长签署法案暂停征收汽油税，10月4日起司机享减负
【哥伦布讯】10月1日，俄亥俄州州长德温（Mike DeWine）签署 HB 519 法案，暂停征收州汽油税，减负措施将于 10 月 4 日起生效。据《灯塔日报》报道，这是俄州近年来首次动用暂停燃油税手段应对油价高企。
法案规定，在暂停期内，批发商与零售商不得将税款转嫁给消费者，州总检察长办公室将监督加油站价格传导情况。州政府估算，暂停措施预计可为普通司机每加仑节省数十美分。
德温在签署仪式上表示，国际油价波动推高了居民通勤与物流成本，暂停汽油税是直接、快速的纾困方式。法案同时要求州交通厅评估暂停期间道路养护资金的缺口，并提出替代财源方案。
民主党议员肯定减负方向，但质疑暂停期结束后油价反弹风险；部分交通规划人士则担心道路基金长期受损。

DeWine Signs Bill Suspending Gas Tax; Relief Begins October 4
[COLUMBUS] Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed HB 519 on October 1, suspending the state gasoline tax, with the relief taking effect October 4 — the first time in recent years Ohio has used a gas-tax suspension to counter high fuel prices, the Beacon Journal reported.
The bill bars wholesalers and retailers from passing the tax on to consumers during the suspension, with the state attorney general's office monitoring price pass-through at gas stations. The state estimates the pause will save typical drivers tens of cents per gallon.
DeWine said at the signing that volatile global oil prices have raised commuting and logistics costs, and suspending the gas tax is a direct, fast form of relief. The bill also directs the state transportation department to assess the road-maintenance funding gap during the suspension and propose alternative revenue sources.
Democratic lawmakers welcomed the relief but questioned the risk of a price rebound when the suspension ends; some transportation planners worry about long-term damage to the road fund.
