北卡车辆登记全面电子化，10月1日起不再贴纸质年检贴
【罗利讯】10月1日起，北卡罗来纳州车辆登记全面转向电子化，车主不再需要在车牌上粘贴纸质年检贴。据州交通厅（NCDOT）经 EIN 发布的消息，执法人员将通过电子系统实时核验车辆登记与保险状态。
NCDOT 表示，电子化可减少贴纸伪造与丢失补办的麻烦，每年节省可观的印制与邮寄成本。车主仍需按时缴纳登记费，逾期将面临罚款。
部分年长车主对新变化表示不适应，交通厅称各车管所（DMV）网点提供现场指导，并保留纸质收据作为缴费凭证。

North Carolina Goes All-Electronic on Vehicle Registration
[RALEIGH] North Carolina's vehicle registration went all-electronic on October 1 — drivers no longer need to affix paper inspection stickers to their license plates, the state Department of Transportation announced via EIN. Law enforcement will verify registration and insurance status in real time through electronic systems.
NCDOT said going electronic reduces sticker fraud and the hassle of replacing lost decals, saving significant printing and mailing costs each year. Owners must still pay registration fees on time; late payments draw fines.
Some older drivers said the change takes getting used to; the department said DMV offices offer in-person guidance and paper receipts remain available as payment proof.
