【海伦娜讯】10月1日起，蒙大拿州正式开始执行医疗补助（Medicaid）受益人的工作要求规定。据蒙大拿公共广播（NPR 成员台）报道，符合条件的成年受益人须满足工作、培训或社区服务时长要求，否则可能失去 coverage。
州卫生厅表示，新规设有豁免条款，包括残障人士、孕妇、照护年幼子女者等群体不受影响。受益人可通过州政府网站申报工时。
医疗倡导组织批评该政策将增加行政负担，可能导致符合条件者因手续问题断保；支持者则认为，工作要求有助于鼓励就业、维护项目可持续性。

Montana Begins Enforcing Medicaid Work Requirements
[HELENA] Montana began enforcing work requirements for Medicaid beneficiaries on October 1, Montana Public Radio (an NPR member station) reported. Able-bodied adult enrollees must meet thresholds for work, training or community service or risk losing coverage.
The state health department said exemptions apply to people with disabilities, pregnant women, caregivers of young children and other groups. Beneficiaries can report hours through the state website.
Health-care advocates criticized the policy as adding red tape that could strip coverage from eligible people over paperwork; supporters say work requirements encourage employment and keep the program sustainable.
