【比洛克西讯】10月1日，密西西比州 2026-27 年度生蚝捕捞季正式开始。据州海洋资源厅（MDMR）经 EIN 发布的消息，今年的开放礁区与捕捞限额根据夏季资源调查结果划定。
MDMR 表示，近年通过人工礁修复与限额管理，密州生蚝资源逐步恢复。开捕首日，持证渔民可前往指定公共礁区作业，须遵守尺寸与数量限制，违规者将面临处罚。
生蚝产业是密西西比湾岸地区的重要经济支柱。州政府预计本季捕捞将为当地加工与餐饮业带来稳定货源。

Mississippi's 2026-27 Oyster Season Opens October 1
[BILOXI] Mississippi's 2026-27 oyster harvest season officially opened October 1, the state Department of Marine Resources (MDMR) announced via EIN. This year's open reefs and harvest limits were set based on summer resource surveys.
MDMR said the state's oyster stocks have gradually recovered in recent years thanks to artificial-reef restoration and quota management. On opening day, licensed harvesters may work designated public reefs, subject to size and sack limits; violators face penalties.
The oyster industry is a key economic pillar of Mississippi's Gulf Coast. The state expects this season's harvest to provide a steady supply for local processors and restaurants.
