Ken Urker Found Dead in Raceland Bayou Area
[LAPLACE] A death investigation unfolded October 1 in Raceland, Louisiana, where the deceased was identified as Ken Urker, the Shreveport Times reported. The body was found in a local bayou area.
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office said the coroner is working to determine the cause of death and has not said whether foul play is suspected. Deputies canvassed the area and pulled nearby surveillance footage.
Urker's family issued a brief statement through the media asking for privacy during the investigation. The case remains under investigation, and police asked anyone with information to come forward.
