【鲍灵格林讯】10月1日，肯塔基州 Warren 县大陪审团正式起诉埃蒙妮·布兰奇（Emonnie Branch），指控其杀害一名州警。据《信使日报》报道，布兰奇面临谋杀执法人员等多项重罪指控。
案发时，遇害州警正在执行公务。检方表示，大陪审团在审查证据后决定提起公诉。布兰奇目前被羁押，不得保释。
肯塔基州警方面发表声明，向遇害警员家属致哀，并表示将全力配合检方诉讼。案件下一次开庭日期待定。

Warren County Grand Jury Indicts Emonnie Branch in Trooper Killing
[BOWLING GREEN] A Warren County, Kentucky grand jury indicted Emonnie Branch on October 1 on charges including the murder of a state trooper, the Courier Journal reported. Branch faces multiple felony counts related to killing a law-enforcement officer.
The slain trooper was on duty at the time of the incident. Prosecutors said the grand jury voted to indict after reviewing the evidence. Branch is being held without bail.
Kentucky State Police issued a statement mourning the fallen trooper and pledging full cooperation with prosecutors. The next court date has yet to be set.
