[INDIANAPOLIS] Indiana Gov. Mike Braun's office announced October 1 that September brought fresh economic-development wins statewide, with companies committing to 570 new high-wage jobs in Indiana, according to a release distributed via EIN NewsWire. The projects span advanced manufacturing, life sciences and logistics.
The governor's office said the new positions pay above the state average wage, with some projects including workforce-training investments. Braun credited Indiana's low taxes and logistics advantages as key draws.
State commerce officials said investment projects announced so far this year have pledged thousands of new jobs cumulatively. Local economic-development officials said they will keep pursuing projects in the pipeline to add more wins in the fourth quarter.
