国家公园局宣布：夏威夷 Hōlei 海蚀拱坍塌
【火山国家公园讯】10月1日，美国国家公园管理局（NPS）宣布，位于夏威夷火山国家公园的著名地标 Hōlei 海蚀拱（Hōlei Sea Arch）已经坍塌。据 Parade 报道，公园管理人员在例行巡查中发现拱体消失，海蚀作用被认为是主因。
Hōlei 海蚀拱高约 27 米，由熔岩流入海水冷却形成，是公园最受欢迎的摄影景点之一。NPS 表示，该区域海岸本就因海浪侵蚀持续后退，拱体坍塌在地质上并不意外。
公园提醒游客远离不稳定的悬崖边缘，并表示将在游客中心更新相关解说内容。

NPS Announces Collapse of Hōlei Sea Arch
[HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK] The National Park Service announced October 1 that the famed Hōlei Sea Arch in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park has collapsed, Parade reported. Rangers discovered the arch gone during a routine patrol; wave erosion is believed to be the main cause.
The roughly 90-foot-tall sea arch, formed where lava met the ocean, was one of the park's most photographed landmarks. NPS said the coastline there has long been retreating under wave attack, so the collapse was geologically unsurprising.
The park reminded visitors to stay back from unstable cliff edges and said it will update interpretive materials at the visitor center.
