圣安娜市——橙县教育局（OCDE）与橙县商业委员会（Orange County Business Council）10月1日联合推出一套面向家长的视频播客系列「10个教育要点」（10 Education Essentials）。据橙县教育局新闻室发布的消息，这套节目围绕家长最关心的十个主题展开，包括选课规划、阅读习惯、心理健康、升学准备与校园安全等，以短视频与播客形式免费向全县家庭开放。
教育局表示，许多家长尤其是新移民家庭，对美国公立学校体系的运作方式不熟悉，这套系列正是为了把学区政策、关键时间节点与可用资源讲清楚。节目邀请了教育工作者、校方代表与社区人士对谈，并通过教育局网站与社交媒体平台陆续上线。
圣安娜市是橙县县治所在地，也是全县华人与西语裔家庭聚居的城市之一。教育局提醒家长，可通过学校办公室与教育局官网获取节目链接；部分内容配有字幕，方便不同语言背景的家庭收看。
橙县教育局是州教育体系中的县级机构，为全县各学区提供教师培训、课程与财政支持服务，圣安娜市所在的圣安娜联合学区是全县规模最大的学区之一。教育局表示，这套播客的选题直接来自家长问卷中最常被问到的问题，每集还会附上相关资源的链接清单，方便家长按图索骥寻找辅导、餐食与课后项目。节目主持人由教育局工作人员与商业委员会的教育项目负责人共同担任，后续集数将邀请校长与一线教师出镜。家长如对节目选题有建议，可通过教育局官网的联系页面提交，教育局表示将把呼声最高的题目排入下一季的制作计划。

Santa Ana Education: Orange County Launches "10 Education Essentials" Podcast and Video Series for Families
SANTA ANA — The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) and the Orange County Business Council launched a podcast and video series for parents, "10 Education Essentials," on October 1. According to the OCDE Newsroom, the series covers ten topics parents ask about most — course planning, reading habits, mental health, college readiness and campus safety among them — and is free to families countywide in short video and podcast formats.
OCDE said many parents, including newcomer immigrant families, are unfamiliar with how U.S. public schools work, and the series is designed to explain district policies, key dates and available resources in plain language. Episodes feature conversations with educators, school officials and community members, released through the department's website and social channels.
Santa Ana, the Orange County seat, is home to large Chinese- and Spanish-speaking communities. OCDE said parents can get episode links through school offices and the department website, and some content includes subtitles for families of different language backgrounds.
The Orange County Department of Education is the county-level arm of the state school system, providing teacher training, curriculum and fiscal support to districts across the county; the Santa Ana Unified School District, serving this city, is among the county's largest. OCDE said episode topics came straight from the questions parents submit most often, and each episode includes a resource list linking families to tutoring, meals and after-school programs. Episodes are hosted jointly by department staff and the Business Council's education-program leads, with principals and classroom teachers slated to appear later in the series. Parents can suggest topics through the contact page on OCDE's website, and the department says the most-requested subjects will be queued for the next season.
