现代汽车宣布在蒙哥马利投资5亿美元生产 Tucson 混动版
【蒙哥马利讯】10月1日，现代汽车宣布将在阿拉巴马州蒙哥马利工厂投资 5 亿美元，用于生产 Tucson 混合动力车型。据《蒙哥马利广告报》报道，这是现代近年来在阿拉巴马州最大的一笔追加投资。
投资将用于生产线改造与新增设备，预计创造数百个就业岗位。现代北美负责人表示，混动车型在美国市场需求旺盛，蒙哥马利工厂的扩产将缩短交付周期。
阿拉巴马州州长办公室对投资表示欢迎，称汽车制造业是该州经济的支柱产业之一。州商务厅表示将为项目提供 workforce 培训支持。

Hyundai to Invest $500M for Tucson Hybrid Production in Montgomery
[MONTGOMERY] Hyundai announced October 1 it will invest $500 million at its Montgomery, Alabama plant to produce the Tucson hybrid model — one of the automaker's largest follow-on investments in the state in recent years, the Montgomery Advertiser reported.
The investment will fund production-line retooling and new equipment, expected to create hundreds of jobs. Hyundai's North America chief said hybrid demand is strong in the U.S. market and expanded Montgomery output will shorten delivery times.
The Alabama governor's office welcomed the investment, calling auto manufacturing a pillar of the state's economy. The state commerce department said it will provide workforce-training support for the project.
