索拉纳海滩市议会9月30日一致通过一读，拟收紧餐饮业一次性塑料用品规定。根据草案，当地餐馆将不得使用任何塑料餐饮用品，包括可回收塑料，须改用可重复使用或可堆肥产品，且堆肥材料须符合该市有机废弃物处理设施的要求。法案仍需二读通过后才正式生效。
Solana Beach Moves to Ban All Plastic Foodware; Restaurants Must Switch to Compostable Products
The Solana Beach City Council voted unanimously on September 30 to approve the first reading of an ordinance tightening rules on single-use plastic foodware. Under the draft, local restaurants would be barred from using any plastic food service ware, including recyclable plastic, and would instead have to use reusable or compostable products, with compostable materials required to be compatible with the facility that processes the city's organic waste. The ordinance still requires a second reading before it takes effect.
