据华盛顿特区社区媒体报道，特区议会议员布鲁克·平托（Brooke Pinto）10月14日在国会高地（Congress Heights）社区举行聆听会，听取居民对联邦执法力量进驻特区一事的意见。平托是市议会司法与公共安全委员会主席。市议会定于11月5日就同一议题举行正式公开听证会。聆听会为议员办公室公布的一系列社区场次之一。
DC Councilmember Holds Community Listening Session on Federal Law Enforcement Presence
Washington DC community media reported that Councilmember Brooke Pinto held a community listening session on October 14 in Congress Heights on the federal law-enforcement presence in the District. Pinto chairs the Council's Judiciary and Public Safety Committee. An official public hearing on the same issue is scheduled for November 5. The session was one of a series of community meetings announced by Pinto's office.
