坦帕37所学校参与步行上学日，Sulphur Springs启动安全路线合作
10月7日，坦帕市与希尔斯堡县公校及倡导组织Sidewalk Stompers共同庆祝全国步行与骑行上学日，全县共有37所区内学校登记参与。在Sulphur Springs K-8学校，学区与市交通官员清晨到校，迎接步行和骑车到校的学生，并启动该校与Sidewalk Stompers的安全路线合作。该校不提供校车，步行与骑行是许多学生到校的主要方式，安全、连通的人行与骑行路线直接关系到孩子能否准时到校。主办方表示，安全步行不仅有益儿童健康，也能增强社区联系并提升整个地区的道路安全。
37 Tampa-Area Schools Join Walk to School Day; Sulphur Springs Launches Safe Routes Partnership
The City of Tampa, Hillsborough County Schools and the nonprofit Sidewalk Stompers marked National Walk and Bike to School Day on Oct. 7, with 37 district schools registered across the county. At Sulphur Springs K-8, school and city mobility officials greeted students arriving on foot or by bike and launched the school's new partnership with Sidewalk Stompers to promote safe, effective routes. Sulphur Springs does not provide school buses, so connected walking and biking routes are essential for on-time arrivals. Organizers say safe routes support student health, stronger community ties and safer streets for the whole region.
