坦帕市中心10月2日设特别活动区 加重违规处罚
坦帕警察局宣布，10月2日市中心一带划设为特别活动区。当天该区域将增派执法人员，违规罚款提高，违规车辆可被扣押。
市府提醒，未来如有需要，其他地点也可能设立类似区域以维护公共安全；活动组织者与家长在相关情况下还可能承担民事责任。前往市中心的市民宜留意现场执法与交通安排。
Downtown Tampa Designated a Special Event Zone on October 2
The Tampa Police Department announced that a Special Event Zone would be in effect in the downtown area on Friday, October 2. During that period, residents can expect a heavier law-enforcement presence, higher fines and possible impoundment of vehicles involved in violations.
The city says similar zones may be set up in other locations in the future when needed for public safety, and notes that parents and organizers may face civil liability in related cases. Drivers and eventgoers heading downtown were advised to expect stepped-up enforcement.
