St. Louis Honors Top Businesses at Mayor's Celebration Luncheon
On October 1, St. Louis city leaders and the local development corporation hosted the annual Mayor's Celebration of Businesses luncheon at a downtown hotel, drawing roughly 900 attendees under a theme centered on a city that works. Awards recognized local restaurants, companies, nonprofits and development projects across categories such as Business of the Year, Community Champion and Development of the Year, plus a Good Neighbor honoree in each of the city's 14 wards. For Chinese-American residents considering opening a business or settling in St. Louis, the list offers a useful snapshot of which neighborhoods are drawing investment and community energy this year.
