旧金山湾区：半月湾百龄园举行2026重阳节庆典 诵经祈福与舞狮追思先人
旧金山湾区半月湾的百龄园纪念公园（Skylawn Memorial Park）于2026年10月10日（周六）及10月11日（周日）举行「2026重阳节庆典暨先人纪念墙」（2026 Chung Yeung Festival & Wall of Honor）活动，以追思先人、家人团聚为主题，纪念重阳节传统。今年重阳节正日为10月18日（农历九月初九），该庆典提前一个周末举行。
活动由百龄园殡仪馆、纪念公园及火葬场（Skylawn Funeral Home, Memorial Park and Crematory）主办，地点位于半月湾 888 LifeMark Road, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019。两天的日程相同：上午10时由旧金山天宝仙观（Sunflower Temple of San Francisco）带领诵经祈福，中午12时举行舞狮表演，下午2时由天宝仙观主持闭幕仪式。
庆典现场设有陈宝泉大师（Master Michael Chan）的风水咨询，并提供免费午餐；每天前300名到场来宾可获赠免费风筝一只。星岛电台于10月10日周六在现场直播，现场并有礼品派发。主办方同时设立「先人牌位」（Wall of Honor）：参加者可亲临园区，在为庆典特设的实体纪念墙上写下已故亲人的姓名，也可在主办方设立的网上纪念墙留言纪念。主办方介绍，重阳追思的传统在中国文化中已有2500多年历史。

San Francisco Bay Area: Skylawn Memorial Park in Half Moon Bay Holds 2026 Chung Yeung Festival With Chanting, Blessings and a Lion Dance
Skylawn Memorial Park in Half Moon Bay, in the San Francisco Bay Area, held its 2026 Chung Yeung Festival & Wall of Honor on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, an event themed on remembering ancestors and bringing generations together for the Double Ninth Festival. This year's Double Ninth Festival falls on October 18, the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, and the celebration was held one weekend in advance.
The event was presented by Skylawn Funeral Home, Memorial Park and Crematory at 888 LifeMark Road, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019. The schedule was the same on both days: chanting and a blessing led by the Sunflower Temple of San Francisco at 10:00 a.m., a lion dance at 12:00 p.m., and a closing ceremony led by the Sunflower Temple at 2:00 p.m.
On site, Master Michael Chan offered feng shui consultations, a free lunch was provided, and the first 300 visitors each day received a free kite. Sing Tao Radio broadcast live from the park on Saturday, October 10, with on-site prizes. The organizer also set up a Wall of Honor: visitors could come to the park and add the names of departed loved ones to a physical memorial wall built for the celebration, or place names on an online Wall of Honor. According to the organizer, the Chung Yeung tradition of remembrance has been part of Chinese culture for more than 2,500 years.
Attendance was in person at the park, and the organizer's event page listed no ticket or reservation arrangement. The contact number for enquiries is (650) 227-3142, and the memorial park's cemetery hours are 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
