西雅图公用事业局获全美可持续水务管理奖
西雅图公用事业局（SPU）10月1日宣布，该局获得水务机构管理协会（AMWA）颁发的2026年度可持续水务管理奖，颁奖典礼将于10月27日在西雅图举行。
SPU为普吉特湾地区约160万居民提供服务，饮用水来自锡达河与南福克托尔特河两大流域约10万英亩的受保护林地，全长约1900英里的输水管线全天候接受监测。
Seattle Public Utilities Wins National Sustainability Award
Seattle Public Utilities announced on October 1 that it has received the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies' 2026 Sustainable Water Utility Management Award. The award will be presented on October 27 in Seattle.
SPU serves about 1.6 million people across the Puget Sound region. Its drinking water comes from roughly 100,000 acres of protected forest in the Cedar River and South Fork Tolt watersheds, delivered through about 1,900 miles of pipeline monitored around the clock.
