圣地亚哥市长回应特朗普涉圣市言论 吁撤回并道歉
圣地亚哥市长托德·格洛里亚（Todd Gloria）10月6日发表声明，回应总统特朗普此前一番言论。特朗普暗示，外国对手若“端掉”圣地亚哥，也只是“小代价”。格洛里亚对此表示强烈反对，认为这种说法对这座城市并不公平。
格洛里亚指出，圣地亚哥是美国太平洋安全的战略支点，约有140万居民在此生活，相关言论并不负责任。他要求特朗普撤回说法并作出道歉，以正视听。
San Diego Mayor Pushes Back on Trump's Remarks About the City
San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria issued a statement on October 6 responding to remarks by President Trump suggesting that a foreign adversary taking out San Diego would be a small price to pay. Gloria forcefully rejected that characterization.
The mayor noted that San Diego is a cornerstone of U.S. Pacific security and home to about 1.4 million residents, calling the comments irresponsible. He urged the president to retract the statement and apologize.
