萨克拉门托因高温开放避暑中心至10月10日
萨克拉门托市10月1日宣布，因国家气象局发布高温预警，市政府将自10月3日起开放避暑中心，并延长至10月10日。奥本大道3615号的社会外展与参与中心可容纳50名访客，24小时开放，提供储物空间并允许携带宠物。
北第五街700号的导航中心在10月3日至9日每天下午1点至晚上8点开放，可接待20名成年人。各图书馆和社区中心在正常时间也可避暑，市民凭SacRT传单截图可免费乘车，需要帮助可拨打211。
Sacramento Opens Cooling Centers Through October 10 Amid Heat Advisory
The City of Sacramento announced on October 1 that cooling centers would open starting October 3 in response to a National Weather Service heat advisory, later extended through October 10. The Outreach and Engagement Center at 3615 Auburn Blvd. can host up to 50 guests around the clock, with storage available and pets accepted.
The North 5th Street Navigation Center at 700 North Fifth St. will be open daily from 1 to 8 p.m. from October 3 to 9 for up to 20 adults. Libraries and community centers also offer relief during regular hours, SacRT rides to the centers are free with a flyer screenshot, and residents can call 211 for help.
