台北经文处凤凰城办公室揭牌 服务亚利桑那与新墨西哥台侨
台北经济文化办事处凤凰城办公室10月5日揭牌，这是台湾在美国设立的第14个办事处。亚利桑那州长 Katie Hobbs 与台湾外长林佳龙出席仪式。新处将为亚利桑那与新墨西哥两州的台湾侨民提供领事服务，并协助台商投资落地。过去三年亚利桑那与台湾年贸易额从30亿美元跃升至逾210亿美元，台积电在北凤凰城持续扩建晶圆厂，带动供应链厂商进驻。州府表示将动员资源支持台企在亚利桑那扩展。
Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Opens in Phoenix
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Phoenix officially opened on Monday, October 5, becoming Taiwan's fourteenth representative office in the United States. Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs joined Taiwan's Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung at the ceremony. The office will provide consular services to Taiwanese nationals in Arizona and New Mexico and serve as a one-stop contact for Taiwanese businesses investing in the state. Annual trade between Taiwan and Arizona has jumped from $3 billion to more than $21 billion in three years, driven by TSMC's expanding semiconductor campus in north Phoenix and its growing supplier network. Hobbs said Arizona will mobilize every available resource to support Taiwanese companies expanding in the state.
