纽约逾万名低收入儿童将获免费托育 市府地图新增「托育券」筛选
纽约市长办公室10月5日宣布，市政府将把1万多名儿童从托育券等候名单中移出、送入免费托育，惠及6周大至13岁的儿童，特殊需要儿童可延长至19岁。该计划得到州政府12亿美元托育投入支持，其中4.75亿美元专门用于托育券。
市儿童服务局将在未来几周起，分批邀请等候名单上的家庭提出申请，符合资格者可获券支付自选托育机构的费用。市府同时升级 nyc.gov/childcare 托育地图，家长首次可以按「是否接受托育券」筛选持牌托育机构，方便低收入家庭就近选择。
More Than 10,000 Low-Income NYC Children to Get Free Child Care as Voucher Waitlist Clears
New York City announced on October 5 that it will move more than 10,000 children off the child care voucher waitlist and into free care, covering children from six weeks to 13 years old, and up to age 19 for children with special needs. The expansion is backed by a $1.2 billion state investment in city child care initiatives, including $475 million dedicated to vouchers.
In the coming weeks, the Administration for Children's Services will begin inviting waitlisted families to apply, with priority for the lowest-income households. The city has also upgraded its child care map at nyc.gov/childcare, letting parents filter licensed programs by whether they accept vouchers for the first time.
