消防安全周聚焦充电安全，新奥尔良消防局吁慎防锂电池风险
新奥尔良市与市消防局10月5日宣布，配合10月4日至10日的全国消防安全周，今年主题聚焦电子装置与充电安全，提醒市民使用原厂或认证充电器、在坚硬平坦表面充电，并在充满后及时拔除。
消防局本周将在市政厅大厅设摊提供安全资料，居民也可申请免费烟雾报警器与到府安装。消防局表示，该市维持州内最高等级的消防评级，并呼吁市民留意电池过热、膨胀或异味等征兆，及早停用并求助。
Fire Prevention Week focuses on safe charging as New Orleans firefighters urge battery caution
The City of New Orleans and its fire department announced on Oct. 5 that this year's Fire Prevention Week, running Oct. 4–10, centers on safe charging habits for phones, e-bikes, and other rechargeable devices, urging residents to use approved chargers, charge on hard flat surfaces, and unplug when charging is done.
Firefighters will staff an information table at City Hall during the week, and residents can request free smoke alarms with home installation. Officials also warned residents to stop using any battery that overheats, swells, or gives off unusual smells.
