10月2日，新奥尔良官方旅游机构发布秋季旅游动态：全市酒店翻新与新建投资累计已超过10亿美元，多家大型酒店正在或即将完成改造。与此同时，秋季活动日程排得满满当当，覆盖全城50个场馆、300多场演出的音乐节将持续至10月4日，电影节则定于10月22日至27日举行。交通方面，往返墨西哥湾沿岸的城际列车开通一年载客已达15万人次，伦敦航线也将于10月25日起增至每周四班，为探亲与商务旅客提供更多选择。
New Orleans Enters Fall With Packed Events Calendar and $1 Billion in Hotel Investment
On October 2, New Orleans' official destination marketing organization reported that hotel renovation and construction investment across the city has passed $1 billion, with several large properties completing or nearing major upgrades. The fall calendar is equally busy: a citywide live-music festival running through October 4 features more than 300 performances at 50 venues, and the New Orleans Film Festival follows from October 22 to 27. On the travel side, Amtrak's Gulf Coast service between New Orleans and Mobile reached 150,000 passenger trips in its first year, while London Heathrow flights will increase to four per week starting October 25, adding options for visiting family and business travelers.
