迈阿密市：迈阿密-戴德县警长办公室获12.34亿美元创纪录预算
迈阿密-戴德县10月8日公布，县长 Daniella Levine Cava 与县委员会主席 Anthony Rodriguez 已正式送交 FY 2026-27 迈阿密-戴德县警长办公室预算，总额为12.34亿美元，是该机构历来最高预算，也比警长提出的10.48亿美元认证申请高出1.863亿美元。

Miami-Dade approves record $1.234 billion Sheriff’s Office budget for FY 2026-27
Miami-Dade County announced on Oct. 8 that Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and Board of County Commissioners Chairman Anthony Rodriguez transmitted the FY 2026-27 budget for the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, providing a record $1.234 billion in total funding. The county said the amount is the largest budget in the agency’s history and $186.3 million more than the Sheriff’s $1.048 billion certified request.
According to the county, the budget funds all 200 additional positions requested by the Sheriff, including 80 sworn and 120 civilian roles, and provides about $95 million for overtime and associated benefits, described as the highest overtime appropriation in the agency’s history. It also covers a proposed cost-of-living adjustment and a 3.5 percent pay supplement for Florida Department of Law Enforcement-certified personnel; the county said roughly 300 vacancies reported in June 2026 can be filled alongside the new positions under historical hiring trends.
