长滩市（Long Beach）「消防团」（Fire Corps）带薪实习计划现正招收第三期学员，申请截止10月26日（周一）。该计划为期七个月，面向18至30岁年轻人，时薪22美元、最多450小时，在消防局防火局社区服务部门参与幕后勤务、社区外展与大型活动支援。
学员可取得心肺复苏（CPR）证书并完成社区应急响应队（CERT）训练。前两期共有33人结业，其中8人结业后获长滩消防局正式录用。

Long Beach Fire Corps Recruiting Third Cohort: Ages 18–30, $22/Hour, Apply by Oct. 26
The Long Beach Fire Corps is accepting applications for its third cohort through Monday, Oct. 26. The seven-month paid internship is open to ages 18 to 30, pays $22 per hour for up to 450 hours, and places participants behind the scenes with the Fire Prevention Bureau's Community Services Division.
Interns can earn CPR certification and complete Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training. The first two cohorts drew 33 participants, eight of whom went on to jobs with the Long Beach Fire Department.
