Chiefs Edge Raiders 30-27 in Las Vegas as Hosts Suffer First Loss of the Season
The Las Vegas Raiders' unbeaten start came to an end at home on Monday night, October 5, as the Kansas City Chiefs escaped Allegiant Stadium with a 30-27 divisional win. Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had a quiet night with just two catches for 15 yards, and his wife Taylor Swift did not make the trip to Las Vegas, having made a surprise appearance on 'Saturday Night Live' in New York the previous day. The game also featured a frightening moment when Chiefs receiver Tyquan Thornton suffered a gruesome ankle injury. For Las Vegas, attention quickly shifted to next week's matchup and to regrouping after a first defeat. Source: New York Post, FOX5 Las Vegas
