Las Vegas Arts District Opens 500-Space Parking Garage With $10 Employee Permits
Downtown Las Vegas has a new five-story parking garage in the 18b Arts District, opening to drivers on October 6 after a late-September ribbon cutting. The $32 million facility at Casino Center Boulevard adds more than 500 spaces for restaurants, breweries, shops and First Friday crowds. Hourly parking is $3 with a $15 daily cap. To offset disruption from the Charleston Boulevard storm drain project, Arts District employees can park for a subsidized $10 a month through the project's expected completion in early 2028, and the free weekday lunch parking program from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. also applies in the garage. The building includes about 10,000 square feet of retail space and a large mural by a local artist celebrating the Mojave Desert and Las Vegas design history.
