拉文市市议会10月5日例会：通过灾害减灾计划，下次会议10月19日
拉文市（La Verne）市议会10月5日召开例会，宣布10月为火灾预防月与家庭暴力宣传月，并表彰了社区志愿服务团体 Order of the Alhambrans。
会议通过多项事项：批准公开听证后的《地方灾害减灾计划》；将 White Avenue 道路修复工程合同授予 Vance Corporation；授权 CivilTec Engineering 更新全市供水总体规划；批准退伍军人协会 VFW Post 12034 使用退伍军人纪念馆的许可协议；并为 Holiday Stroll、Walk of Honor 两项社区活动签署合作协议。
近期市政活动：10月10日（周六）上午9时社区中心有手工艺市集；10月17日（周六）上午9时市政中心停车场有 Trunk-or-Treat 万圣节派糖活动。下一次市议会例会定于10月19日（周一）晚6时30分举行，市府并提醒当天是选民登记截止日。（GSM 据拉文市政府 Wednesday Wrap Up 摘编）
La Verne Council Approves Hazard Mitigation Plan; Next Meeting Oct. 19
The La Verne City Council met on Oct. 5, proclaiming October as Fire Prevention Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month and honoring community volunteers from the Order of the Alhambrans.
The council approved the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan after a public hearing, awarded the White Avenue Rehabilitation Project contract to Vance Corporation, authorized CivilTec Engineering to update the citywide Water Master Plan, approved a license agreement for VFW Post 12034 to use Veterans Hall, and signed partnership agreements for the Holiday Stroll and Walk of Honor community events.
Coming up: a Craft Fair at the Community Center on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m., and Trunk-or-Treat at the Civic Center parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. The next regular council meeting is Monday, Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m., which is also the voter registration deadline.
