休斯顿社区参加全国守望之夜 鼓励街区登记邻里派对
10月6日（周二）晚，休斯顿多地社区参加一年一度的“全国守望之夜”（National Night Out）。市议会G区办公室邀请各街区登记自家举办的邻里派对与聚会，以增进邻里联系、共建安全社区。
为配合这一全市性的社区活动，休斯顿市议会本周将例会合并至10月7日（周三）举行。市政府鼓励居民走出家门，与邻居和社区警务人员面对面交流。
Houston Neighborhoods Take Part in National Night Out
Neighborhoods across Houston took part in National Night Out on Tuesday evening, October 6. The City Council District G office invited blocks to register their parties and gatherings as part of the annual effort to build safer, better-connected communities.
In recognition of the citywide event, the Houston City Council consolidated its meeting schedule to Wednesday, October 7. Residents are encouraged to step outside, meet their neighbors and connect with local officers.
