落叶回收季开始 树叶南瓜可送堆肥
丹佛交通与基础设施部门10月5日宣布，年度落叶回收项目正式开始。居民可以把落叶和南瓜送到指定地点堆肥，而不是送进垃圾填埋场。
已经订了堆肥服务的住户可以直接把落叶放进绿色堆肥车，不用装袋。市里借这个秋季清理时节，鼓励更多家庭登记堆肥车，让院子打理更省事。
Denver LeafDrop Program Starts for Fall Leaves and Pumpkins
Denver's transportation and infrastructure department announced on Oct. 5 that the annual LeafDrop program is underway. Residents can drop off leaves and pumpkins to be turned into compost instead of going to landfill.
Households with compost service can put leaves straight into their green cart with no bagging. The city is using the fall cleanup season to encourage more sign-ups for compost carts.
