达拉斯市政府10月8日公布原住民日（Indigenous Peoples' Day）市政服务安排：今年原住民日为10月12日（周一），全市各市政办公室当天关闭，市法院（Municipal Court）同步闭庭。假日期间，311客服热线照常接听与市政服务相关的来电，包括水管爆裂、树木倒伏、交通信号灯故障及动物管制等事项；水务客户服务当天暂停，市民可通过达拉斯311手机应用提交非紧急申请。达拉斯动物服务处行政办公室关闭，但动物收容所按正常时间开放，服务人员照常经311受理居民请求。环境卫生部门行政办公室当天关闭，垃圾、回收物及大件杂物清运照常按计划进行，McCommas Bluff垃圾填埋场和各转运站按正常时间开放供居民自助弃置。达拉斯水务局行政与客服办公室当天关闭，紧急用水问题请拨311。公园与康乐部行政办公室、康乐中心及维护设施当天全部关闭。（来源：达拉斯市政府新闻中心）
Dallas Announces Indigenous Peoples' Day Service Changes: City Offices Closed Oct. 12, Trash Pickup on Schedule
The City of Dallas on Oct. 8 announced service changes for Indigenous Peoples' Day, which falls on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026. All city offices will be closed that day, and Municipal Court will not be in session. The 311 customer help line will still take service-related calls, including water main breaks, downed trees or limbs, traffic signal outages and animal control; water customer service will be closed, and non-emergency requests can be submitted through the Dallas 311 mobile app. Dallas Animal Services administrative offices will close, but the shelter will keep normal hours and officers will respond to requests through 311 as usual. Sanitation administrative offices will be closed, while garbage, recycling and brush/bulky collections continue on schedule; the McCommas Bluff Landfill and transfer stations remain open at regular hours for residential self-service disposal. Dallas Water Utilities administrative and customer service offices will be closed, with emergency water requests handled through 311.
