达拉斯学区致敬校园保洁员：天未亮就让学校焕然一新
10月2日全国保洁员日前夕，达拉斯独立学区（Dallas ISD）特别介绍了默默守护校园的保洁团队。学区表示，正是这些员工每天的清扫、巡查与维护，让学生走进的是干净、安全又温馨的学习环境，他们的付出常被视为理所当然。
受访的黛安娜·菲金斯（Diana Feagins）在史蒂芬·C·福斯特小学工作，1992年加入学区，2023年退休后又重返岗位。她每天在日出前到校，逐间教室、走廊巡查，确保孩子们到校时一切就绪。
Dallas ISD Honors the Custodians Who Keep Its Schools Welcoming
Ahead of National Custodian Day on October 2, Dallas ISD put a spotlight on the custodians who keep its campuses clean and ready for learning. The district credits these employees with the daily cleaning, checks, and upkeep that make schools safe and welcoming, work that often goes unnoticed.
Among them is Diana Feagins of Stephen C. Foster Elementary, who joined Dallas ISD in 1992 and returned to work after retiring in 2023. She arrives before sunrise to walk the classrooms and hallways, making sure everything is in order before students arrive.
