卡尔弗城市Culver West Alexander公园新游乐场落成 10月10日办儿童感官活动庆祝
卡尔弗城市（Culver City）位于 Wade 街4162号的 Culver West Alexander 公园翻新游乐场已经落成。市府公园康乐部把每月第二个周六的「感官星期六」（Sensory Saturdays）亲子活动移师该园，10月10日（周六）上午10时至中午12时与居民一起庆祝新游乐场启用。
该游乐场今年6月22日起关闭翻新，并获选为 PlayCore「全国示范场址」（National Demonstration Site），新设备费用有一半由补助金支付。感官星期六为免费免预约活动，设有戏水桌、泡泡、粉笔画与手指画等项目，主要面向6岁以下幼儿。
市府提醒，活动地点每月轮换；11月14日将在 Fox Hills 公园、12月12日在 Carlson 公园举行。（GSM 据卡尔弗城市政府官网摘编）
Culver City's New Culver West Alexander Playground Complete; Oct. 10 Sensory Celebration Planned
The renovated playground at Culver West Alexander Park (4162 Wade St.) in Culver City is complete. The city's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is moving its monthly Sensory Saturdays program to the park on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon, to celebrate the new playground.
Closed for renovation since June 22, the playground was selected as a PlayCore National Demonstration Site, with a grant covering 50 percent of the new equipment cost. Sensory Saturday is a free drop-in activity with water tables, bubbles, chalk art and finger painting, geared toward children under 6.
The program rotates parks monthly: Fox Hills Park on Nov. 14 and Carlson Park on Dec. 12. (GSM, excerpted from the City of Culver City)
