科罗纳市创新中心在市立图书馆开幕 州府250万美元拨款建成社区科创据点
科罗纳市创新中心近日在科罗纳市立图书馆正式开幕。这座社区科创据点由加州州政府 250 万美元拨款建成（经州长商务与经济发展办公室 GO-Biz、由州参议员罗斯办公室促成），把图书馆腾出的空间改造成灵活多功能的场所。
中心将提供创业与企业扶持、就业与职业培训、青少年 STEM 教育、数码技术资源以及各类工作坊，合作伙伴包括本地学校、学院、企业与区域机构。市府希望借此把职业教育、创新培训带进市中心核心区，为市区复兴注入人气，也让居民在家门口就能学技能、找机会。（GSM 据科罗纳市政府官网摘编）
Corona Opens Downtown Innovation Center at the Public Library
The Corona Innovation Center has officially opened inside the Corona Public Library. Built with a $2.5 million State of California grant (secured in 2023 through GO-Biz and the office of Senator Richard Roth), the project turned a portion of the library into a flexible space for technology, entrepreneurship, workforce training and career opportunities.
The center offers business and entrepreneurship services, workforce and career-pathway programs, youth STEM education, technology resources and workshops, delivered with local schools, colleges, businesses and regional partners. City officials are positioning it as an anchor of downtown revitalization, giving residents a place to learn, collaborate and build skills close to home. (GSM, from the City of Corona website)
