哥伦布学区董事会主席就医保争议公开说明
哥伦布市学区董事会主席在10月6日的董事会会议上发表公开讲话，回应近期围绕员工医疗保险安排的争议。她表示外界流传的部分说法并不准确，并解释了学区在费用问题上的处理过程。
当天有不少教师到场表达诉求。学区方面称，正与各工会团队协商，目标是保障2027年员工的医疗福利质量，并让费用分担保持公平。
Columbus School Board President Addresses Health Benefits Dispute
The president of the Columbus Board of Education delivered public remarks at the board's October 6 meeting, responding to the ongoing dispute over employee health benefits. She said some circulating claims are inaccurate and walked through how the district has handled the costs.
Many teachers attended to voice concerns. District leaders say they are working with union teams to protect benefit quality for 2027 while keeping cost sharing fair.
