Cathedral City 市历时一年半修订的新版开发法规（Development Code）终稿已公布，规划委员会 9 月两场会议审议并提出建议后，市议会将于 10 月 14 日与 28 日晚 5 时半举行两场公开听证再决定是否通过。新法规意在让「哪里能建什么」更易懂，鼓励在市内空地与低利用地块上增建住房，并与城市 2040 总体规划及州、联邦现行法律对齐；听证开放公众参加，居民也可电邮 [email protected] 提交意见。（资料来源：Cathedral City 市政府）
Cathedral City's Updated Development Code Heads to City Council Hearings Oct. 14 and 28
Cathedral City has released the final draft of its updated Development Code, the rulebook for what can be built where, after a year and a half of work. Following two September Planning Commission meetings, the City Council will hold public hearings on Oct. 14 and 28 at 5:30 p.m. before deciding on adoption. Officials say the update aims to make development rules easier to understand, encourage housing and infill on vacant or underused lots, and align with the city's 2040 General Plan and current state and federal law; residents may also comment by emailing [email protected].
